FNF vs Hex — Meet the Robot on the Mic

An original mod soundtrack with a friendly rival

A friendly robot takes the other side of the microphone in Friday Night Funkin vs Hex Mod. Boyfriend's next challenge is learning an original mod soundtrack through the same four-direction exchanges used in FNF. The appeal is the character and the music: each new phrase gives you another rhythm to answer. This page offers a free online Hex build; the separate V3 page covers The Event Update.

A friendly character with unfamiliar phrases

This is a good stop for a new rival and a fresh set of songs after the base game.

A useful stop after the base game or Whitty, this build also gives Bad Bunny players a different character and soundtrack. Its friendly robot setting offers another mood beside the horror crossovers.

• Hex brings a robot character to Boyfriend's musical battles.
• His friendly personality gives the encounter a different feel from the horror crossovers.
• The soundtrack was made for the mod rather than borrowed from the base-game weeks.
• Four scrolling lanes carry the timing challenge throughout the songs.
• The embedded release has its own menu and song selection; use the V3 page for details of that update.

Get a Hex song ready for keyboard play

Give each new musical answer a moment of attention. Its spacing may change even when the melody seems familiar.

1. Launch the player and activate the game window with a click.
2. Browse the available Hex story entries or songs.
3. If that selection offers difficulties, choose the one you can read comfortably.
4. Match each incoming direction to its arrow key at the receptor line.
5. Between attempts, think about where the rhythm changed before you try the chart again.

Meet Hex in the free online player

Select Play Now above to launch the embedded Hex game. Once its menu is ready, enter an available song or story selection and click inside the game for keyboard input. The browser build handles the game files without a separate mod installation.

Prefer a separate game window? Open the standalone game player (opens in a new tab).

Continue from Hex to The Event Update

Once a phrase starts to feel comfortable, it is easy to keep tapping its rhythm into the next one. Read ahead during the gaps and listen for a change in the response.

Use this free online Hex player for the encounter here, then follow the V3 recommendation below when you want to explore The Event Update.
